We are surrounded by pure wilderness. Access is by boat or plane only.
Raven Hostel is located on Tagish Lake, 130km south of Whitehorse/Yukon and 40km west of Atlin/BC. This is a wilderness adventure off the beaten track.
Your holiday begins with a boat trip across two lakes and down a wild river or a float plane ride! It can be rough, so expect some exciting moments!
If you're a seasoned wilder-ness explorer, this is an ex-cellent base camp for your adventures - no hiking or biking trails, the land is as wild as it comes!
Or if you've always wanted to be out in real wilderness but have never dared to go, this is a great place to get a taste of the wild! We also offer courses to help you feel more comfortable out in the woods.
Listen to the sound of waves and watch the sunlight play over the Coast Mountains' glaciers. You might see a moose swimming by and catch a lake trout for dinner.
Because this is true wilder-ness, there are no hiking trails. It's easy though to wander along the shoreline or explore the open forest.
You can also rent a canoe or kayak for $35.-/day and go paddling on the lake. Or take a wilderness skills course at the hostel!
