Our buildings are log cabins, all of them have wood stoves for heating on cold days. There is no electricity, tele-
phone or running water. The hostel is just a short stroll from the lake shore with a panoramic view of the glacier-
topped Coast Mountains.

Accommodation
We have two heated dormitories with 4 beds each, plus overflow accommodation in a walltent for another 4 people.
Bring your sleeping bag! If you are traveling without one, you can rent blankets and linen at the hostel for $2.-
For those preferring the privacy of their own tent, we have 4 camp sites available (the regular rate still applies, since
you have full use of the facilities).

Kitchen and Common Room
The hostel’s kitchen is equipped with a propane cookstove and the necessary pots, plates, cups and cutlery. Bring
enough food for your stay!!!! The next store is two lakes and a whitewater river away! There is an ice chest to keep
a limited amount of groceries refrigerated.
The kitchen and common room have large picture windows with a great view of the lake and mountains. A
woodstove heats it up very nicely on cool, wet days, and there are board games, books and a guitar for rainy days.

Washrooms
The toilet is a secluded outhouse. For washing, we have unique solar-heated showerstalls – it’s very much like
taking a shower in a greenhouse! Get your water from the lake, heat it up and enjoy!

Sauna and wood-fired bathtub by the lake
Forget the conventional hottubs! Here, you can soak in a bathtub by yourself, right down on the lake shore, and
admire the spectacular mountain view.
And from July, you’ll be able to relax in the wood-fired sauna after a day out on the lake. To cool off, plunge into the
definitely refreshing waters of Tagish Lake!

• FREE use of smoke house (if you did catch a fish!)

One week for 1 person: $375.- /pp ....... 2 people: $275./pp ....... 3 people: $240.- /pp
.....................- 4 people: $225.- /pp........- 5 people: $215.- /pp

This doesn't mean you have to organize a whole group; when three other people have booked
to come during the same week as you, the 4 people price applies.
You are also welcome to stay for shorter lengths of time for $25.-/night. Please contact us for the pick-
up and drop-off rates. We'll try to match you up with more people to make it less costly for you!
